Judy, TransForum is locally developing software for operating threaded forums with aspirations to a few other areas of functionality that map comfortably onto its natural data structure.

We have a heritage of considerable awareness of deep community development issues, as well as the broad philosophy of cyberspace/hypertext. I believe they fit powerfully together making this the best thing I can do with my time.

Right now we are gradually taking the veils off at the same time as rounding out the version 1.x feature set. A few here have accepted our invitation to "spawn" their own TransForums and that door is still open.

The deeper I get into this, the less satisfactory I find e-mail, although I accept that it is going to retain its role as a reminder service for a while yet. For now, I would much prefer to continue discussions here here.
